Peacock Nails

Hi!

I got peacock nails to share with you today.  I just got done doing them, and I love the way they turned out.  I even got to use two unused polishes.

I used Wet n Wild Megalast Through the Grapevine for the base color, Spoiled Trust Fund Baby for the accent nail (ring finger), and Kleancolor Metallic Sapphire for the stamping.  For the stamping, I used the bundle monster plate BM-212.

Through the Grapevine had a great formula and covered in two coats, but I hated the brush.  It has a pro-wide brush, but I felt like it was too wide. It was hard for me to get as close to the cuticles as I would have liked.

Trust Fund Baby is a glitter in a clear base. Its made up of purple, blue, gold, and black pentagon (at least I think its pentagon) glitter. I was trying to cover up the entire nail with this glitter, but that would have made my nails ridiculously thick.  Shown is 4 coats, and that's nowhere near full coverage.  It did have a very quick dry time.

I've only used Metallic Sapphire to stamp with so I'm not sure about it's application.  It is very opaque, and works great with stamping.  It does tend to bleed sometimes though when I put topcoat on, but it depends on the the topcoat.  I used Seche Vite this time and there wasn't any bleeding.

I've been really busy lately and won't have a day off from school or work til who knows when.  I'll try my best to keep up with my manis and blog though!

Well thanks for stopping by <3
