Orly - Can't Be Tamed

Here is a swatch Orly Can't Be Tamed over black.  Can't Be Tamed is part of the Orly Flash Glam FX collection.  This is the second out of the four I have. Can't Be Tamed is made up of purple hexagon and gunmetal grey glitter in a clear base.

I used 1 coat of Wet N Wild Black Creme and two coats of Can't Be Tamed. The polish was a little on the thick side, but not to bad. Do you see that random blue glitter on my middle finger? I have no idea where that came from.  I think it may have just been a random blue glitter in my bottle.

Well, thanks for reading!

Orly - Go Deeper

I finally have a swatch of one of the Orly Flash Glam FX collection polishes.  Orly Go Deeper is a beautiful combo of teal /green (flashes between the two colors) and blue glitter suspended in a teal jelly base. I layered Go Deeper over black.

I used one coat of Wet N Wild Black Creme and three coats of Go Deeper.  Go deeper didn't give me any trouble at all.  I wanted my nail to be covered in as much glitter as possible which is why I used three coats, but it was just as pretty with one coat over black.

I'm curious how it looks on its own, and how many coats I  am going to need if I wore Go Deeper on it's own.  I'll probably swatch this on its own sometime in the future after I post the other three polishes from the collection.

I can't wait to show you the other three!

Nail Mail - Orly

I'm starting to fall behind a little bit with my blog, but I have some posts lined up, including the polishes I'm about to show you today. The other day, I received my order of Orly polishes. I purchased four polishes from the Flash Glam FX collection.  After seeing these four in person, I have to have them all!!!

Anyways, here are the four I picked up:

From Left to Right: Mermaid Tale, Can't Be Tamed, Go Deeper, and Cupcakes And Unicorns

I'll be posting swatches of theses later this week, so stay tuned!

Orange Gradient

Today, I thought I'd share a gradient I did earlier this week.  I did a gradient using yellow and orange.  I also added a coat of a holographic topcoat, because who doesn't love holo.

I used three different polishes for the gradient, Sinful Colors Pull Over, Zoya Arizona, and OPI A Roll In The Hague. I also added a coat of Nails Inc Electric Lane (holographic topcoat). Hope you like them. :)

Thanks for reading!

Zoya Elisa

Hello!

Today, I have a swatch of Zoya Elisa.  This polish is part of Zoya's Fall Diva Collection.

Elisa is the most amazing shimmering red  It almost seems metallic, and just glows when on the nails.

I used two coats, and the polish applied beautifully.  This is honestly one of the most gorgeous polishes I own, and is a must have. And I don't even really like the color red!

I have four other polishes from the Diva Collection I still need to swatch. Hopefully I can get the rest of the swatches up this week. I'm seriously trying to put more of an effort into blogging, but sometimes I'm just so lazy.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Love and Beauty Haul + Swatches

I ordered a few things from Forever 21 not to long ago, and couldn't resist getting a few of their Love and Beauty polishes.  I ordered four of them and wanted to share them with you today because I was pretty impressed with the polishes.  The Love and Beauty polishes don't really have names on them, just what color they are, but online, they had a better descriptive name which I will be using.

From left to right: Iridescent Grey (bottle shot is no where near accurate), Silver Glitter, Imperial Blue, Iridescent Envy.
The first four swatches are all one coat of polish over black, and the fifth swatch is three coats of Iridescent Envy.

This is Imperial Blue.  I used three coats in my pictures.

Iridescent Grey, Imperial Blue, and Iridescent Envy were extremely sheer.  I feel like they look best over black.  Imperial Blue is a blue and purple shimmer in a blue base, and the purple shimmer really pops over black than it does by itself. Silver Glitter is a chunky holo, and you could probably get full coverage in three coats. I know the swatches aren't the best but I wanted to get a quick swatch out before they just sit with my other untried polishes.

Jelly Sandwich w/ Zoya Frida and Maisie

Hi there!

I can't believe its been so long since the last time I've blogged. I just got the game Dead Island, and I'm completely obsessed. I literally play all day long when I'm not working or going to school.  School is another reason I haven't blogged.  The fall semester just started two weeks ago and I've just been trying to get into the swing of things again. Anyways, on to the good stuff.

I have a jelly sandwich that I did using Zoya Frida and Maisie. Zoya Frida is part of the new Zoya Gloss Collection, and is a forest green jelly.

I have so many layers of polish on in these pictures.  I used three coats of Frida, and one coat of Maisie, followed by another coat of Frida. That's along with my base coat and top coat. I really like how this turned out, and will probably try other jelly sandwich combinations later this week.

Thanks for stopping by!
