Sephora - Disney Jasmine One Is Never Enough Nail Set

As mentioned in my previous post, here is Sephora's Disney Jasmine One Is Never Enough Nail Set. It it a set of six mini Sephora by OPI polishes.

Left to Right: Berry Tale Romance, Your Wish is My Command, Fit For Royalty, Dream Princess, All That Jasmine, Aladin's Girl

Left to Right: Dream Princess, All That Jasmine, Aladin's Girl

Berry Tale Romance
Like the name implies, Berry Tale Romance is a creamy berry color. I used two coats. The formula was a little streaky at first, but the second leveled everything out.

Your Wish is My Command
This is a pale lilac. Your Wish is My Command looks like a cream polish, but it has the slightest hint of white shimmer. I used three coats to reach opacity. The formula was thin and streaky.

Fit For Royalty
This is a pearlized purple. It's a little on the frosty side. This was my least favorite. I used two thick coats. The formula was okay on this one. This was pretty prone to brushstrokes though, so be careful when applying.

All That Jasmine

This is a light turquoise cream. I used two coats. This polish had the best formula out of the six. This is probably my favorite out the collection, but its also one of colors I'm always drawn to.

Dream Princess layered over All That Jasmine
Dream Princess is a glitter suspended in a clear yellowish base. I used one coat over All That Jasmine. This is a cute glitter, even though I'm sure I have other glitters like this one. The formula was great and the glitter spreads very evenly.

Aladin's Girl
Aladin's Girl is a orangey-bronze glitter in a orangish clear base. I had to used three coats, but probably could have used a fourth. This formula is very thin and watery.

I'm not all that impressed with this collection. None of the colors were all that unique, and I'm sure I can find dupes, or something close enough, for most of them in my collection. I wanted the Cinderella nail polish set but I missed out on the set when it was available so I thought I'd buy this before they were sold out.

I bought the Disney Jasmine One Is Never Enough Nail Set online from Sephora's website here for $24.50.

Sinful Colors - Truth Or Dare

Hi there!

I just wanted to share a swatch of Sinful Colors Truth Or Dare with you today. Truth Or Dare was a part of Sinful Colors' Kiss and Tell collection and its a gorgeous berry cream. I topped it off with some gold round studs from the Born Pretty Store.

I used two coats to reach opacity. The formula is very opaque and applied great. Ignore the blemish from the glue on my nails. I added the gold studs a few hours after my nails had dried so I used nail glue to attach them. Normally, I'd add studs or rhinestones while the polish is wet so they attach without glue.

I'm a little behind on my posts, but I'll have to save them for another time. I bought the Disney Jasmine nail polish set from Sephora on the first day it was available online and I just got it in the mail today. Hopefully, I'll have them posted up by the end of this week!

Sinful Colors - Sweet Nothing

Sinful Colors Sweet Nothing is part of the Sugar Rush collection. This is the only one I picked up from the collection. Sweet Nothing is a very bright and creamy teal.

The formula was pretty good. Its a little on the thick side, but I didn't have any issues with application. I used two coats. The photos are before I added any top coat. I added some of the glitters from the Sinful Colors Almost Famous collection before using topcoat. It didn't turn out too cute, so I'll have to share the glitters over a different polish another time.

Comparison: Color Club Harp On It vs. Julep Rebel

Here is a comparison between Color Club Harp On It and Julep Rebel:

Color Club Harp On It and Julep Rebel

I used two coats of each polish. Both formulas were great, but obviously one is more holo than the other.

Julep Holographic Polishes - Ginger & Rebel

Hey guys!

Today I have two Julep holographic polishes to share with you, Ginger and Rebel. I got these two polishes in my February Julep Maven box. Ginger is a gold holo and Rebel is a silver holo. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take pictures in the sun.

The formula was great on these polishes. I used two coats, along with base coat and top coat, which didn't seem to dull the polish at all. The holo effect wasn't as strong as I would have liked, but it is stronger than it appears in my pictures.

Tomorrow, I'll be posting a comparison of Rebel and Color Club Harp On It.

Claire's Sun Changing Nail Polish

Today,  I want to share one of Claire's Sun Changing Nail Polishes with you. Unfortunately none of the polishes from the collection has a name. I can't remember exactly how many polishes are in this collection, I want to say six, but I have two of them. I have a green to blue glitter, and a peach to pink polish. I have pictures of the peach to pink.

(The actual colors inside and outside don't match the sticker colors.)

Outside (in my car)

The polish is sheer, it looks like a normal glitter topper. I used two coats of Wet N Wild Megalast 2% Milk as a base, which is also really sheer. Then, I added two coats of the color changing polish. Even though I have VNL, I still really liked how it turned out. I had used the polish on a pretty overcast day and took pictures when the sun peaked out while I was out shopping. The changed is very noticeable  but goes away quickly if you're not in direct sun light. The longer my nails were exposed to the sunlight, the more pink it got.

They were $7 each, but Claire's normally has a BOGO 50% off sales on their nail polishes.

Zoya Blair

Sorry I've been gone for so long. Last week was really hectic for me. A family member passed away last week, so I was gone for about half the week to be with family and to attend the funeral. After I got back, I was behind with my school work and had to concentrate on that. I'm finally all caught up with school and everything has fallen back into routine.

I wanted to share my swatch of Zoya Blair with you today. This is one of the polishes I chose during Zoya's three free promotion. Blair is gorgeous blackened red. The polish is really bright in the center, but blackened towards the edges of the nails.

I used two coats of polish. The formula was excellent and gave me no issues. I never really liked the color red, but with polishes as glowing and gorgeous as this, it has really grown on me.

Nails Inc - Noho

Hello!

How's everybody doing? I'm still pretty bummed the 49ers didn't win the Super Bowl. It was so close! Anyways...

I just wanted to share a picture of Nails Inc Leather Effect polish in Noho. It comes in a set with some studs, rhinestones, and skull embellishments. Unfortunately, I deleted the picture of the complete set. You can still see a picture of the set from a previous post here

I used two coats. I thought I was going to need more than two coats because the first coat was so sheer, but luckily I didn't. I love the way the leather effect turned out! The texture is very similar to the OPI Liquid Sand polishes.

As cute as I thought the skull was, it was very annoying. The skull doesn't lay flat on the nail due to the curve of the nail. The skull kept getting caught in my hair and on fabric and eventually fell off on the second day. The rhinestones and studs were great but I would rather buy them separately since you can find them for way cheaper.

The set costs $25, and you can find them online or in-store at Sephora.
